So Ihave broke my foot (silly billy) and I am stuck at home bored out of my skull. So thought I would write some recipes for the blog.


So we all have busy lifestyles most of the time and if you fail to plan in advance what to cook for lunch or tea, you might find yourself reaching for an unhealthy shop bought sandwich or takeout meal.

Here’s a quick 15 minute chilli recipe you can have ready in the time it takes to locate a takeaway menu and pick up the phone.


15 Minute Chilli
1 pound minced turkey
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 16 oz. can pinto beans, drained and rinsed
1 16 oz. can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 28 oz. can chopped stewed tomatoes
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon cumin powder
1.In a large pot, brown turkey with chopped onion.
2. Add beans, tomatoes, garlic, chili powder, cumin, and salsa to turkey mixture.
Cook until hot.
Serves 4
